One of the top 50 recruits in the state of Florida for the 2014 class, Johnnie Dixon has received yet another offer to add to his list from the North Carolina State Wolfpack. The Dwyer High standout also received an offer from the Washington State Cougars earlier this month and an SEC offer from Tennessee on the last day of November.

Dixon has shown the most interest in the in-state schools, with the Miami Hurricanes and Florida Gators viewed as two teams with the high hand early on. The four-star wide receiver took unofficial visits to both schools last month and camped at both schools in the summer (Dixon also camped at Florida State).

Louisiana-Lafayette, the Alabama Crimson Tide, Florida State, the USF Bulls, the Ohio State Buckeyes, and West Virginia have all offered the 2014 standout. Wisconsin has also shown interest.

Johnnie Dixon is one of the top deep threats in the southeast after hauling in 711 receiving yards this past season for Dwyer to go with six touchdown passes. The 5’10”, 187 pound recruit is one of the top 50 wideouts in the 2014 class overall, and the huge interest he has been receiving from the Florida Gators is proof of that. Dixon has a wealth of potential, and it will be interesting to see if N.C. State can get some ground in his recruitment.
