The Virginia Cavaliers are hosting an N.C. State Wolfpack and UNC Tar Heels target this weekend in four-star athlete Jamil Kamara, who is pretty much a consensus top 100 recruit in the 2014 class at this point. Kamara is a top in-state target for UVA and one of the five or so best prospects in Virginia.

The Miami Hurricanes, Boston College Eagles, Clemson Tigers, Virginia Tech Hokies, LSU Tigers, Michigan Wolverines, and Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets are all schools of interest early on. BC, Clemson, Miami, VT, Illinois, UConn, and Vanderbilt have also offered the top ten athlete in the class.

UNC and N.C. State are not new offers for Kamara, and the Bishop Sullivan Catholic star has actually visited UNC a couple of times.

The Cavaliers unofficial visitor was visited by Mike London and Chip West a couple of days ago as well, so it’s safe to say that the Cavs are amping up their recruiting efforts for the prized in-state catch who had 1,340 all-purpose yards this past season.

Jamil Kamara is listed at 6’2″, 195 pounds and is one of the most high profile players in the state. He has good speed and incredible athleticism, which allows him to thrive as a receiver and running back. At this point in time, he’s better suited to play wideout at the collegiate level.
