North Carolina College Basketball Injury Update

Well, the college basketball season is moving along steadily and the action is heating up. So we at Old North Banter are going to take a look at the injury report for the major North Carolina schools.

Charlotte: The 49ers are so far injury free! Good news for them!

Duke: Seth Curry is is still listed as questionable for tomorrow night’s game against Temple after sitting out last weekend against Delaware due to a shin injury. Marshall Plumlee is going to be out for six-to-eight weeks from a stress fracture in his foot.

East Carolina: Erin Straughn is listed as questionable for the Pirates next game against in-state rivals North Carolina. Straughn has not yet played a single game this season due to a leg injury.

North Carolina State: So far the Wolfpack are in prime condition and are smooth sailing with an injury.

North Carolina: Marcus Paige is the only player that is questionable for the Tar Heels this weekend. Paige missed out on last weekends game after injuring his shoulder in practice.

UNC-Asheville: UNCA is playing without guard Jaron Lane who is out indefinitely from a hand injury.

Wake Forest: The Demon Deacons are without Daniel Green for the remainder of the season because of a torn right ACL.
