In a season that the Bobcats had regained some energy and excitement not only within the team, but the fan base too with optimism…things have begun to slow down and head towards a similar and depressing path they’ve been down before.

The Charlotte Bobcats welcomed the Philadelphia 76ers to Charlotte Friday night and for a game most thought would be one sided, it was intense until the end. There is hope and optimism for this team considering that they stayed close by the 76ers and didn’t give up.

The leaders for Charlotte were Jeffrey Taylor and Ben Gordon. Both played for 33 minutes, Taylor started and Gordon put up a solid effort from the bench.

Gordon shot for 19 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists. Taylor shot for 16 points and had two assists to go along with his rebound and steal.

Philadelphia won’t be going home without noticing the efforts of Kemba Walker either. Walker maybe have only scored 13 points but he had 9 assists, 4 rebounds and 2 steals.

The Bobcats have a few nights off before playing host to the Portland Trailblazers on Monday night.
